What can we do in the South Downs National Park?

The South Downs National Park encompasses vast portions of East Sussex, West Sussex and Hampshire. Here, among the chalk cliffs and green hills, you can walk upon the English landscape that inspired Blake’s ‘Jerusalem’. And it’s no less impressive today: there are over 3,300km of trail to walk, cycle or horse ride along, as well as a diversity of wildlife habitats. It’s also a designated Dark Sky Reserve, making it officially one of Britain’s best spots for stargazing.
