The splendid Hampton Court Palace in nearby Richmond upon Thames offers a glimpse into the Tudor court of Henry VIII. And, at Polseden Lacey, as well as exploring the 1,600-acre estate and Edwardian mansion, you can book a game on the croquet lawn on weekends from April to September.

This working farm is a popular local attraction, offering the chance to play, take on countryside adventure trails, and meet the farm animals.
