Our properties for groups typically accommodate between 10 and 46 guests for residential retreats, with the right property depending on your team size and how you'd like to use the space. For day events and corporate entertaining, capacity can extend further still – for instance, the dining room at Cowdray House seats up to 60 guests, making it well suited to larger gatherings, awards dinners, or client events. If you have a specific group size in mind, we can help match you with the most suitable property – whether that's an intimate bolthole for a leadership offsite or a grand country house for a full team away day.

The spaciousness offered by these properties adds an element of flexibility to your planning. Historic dining rooms, ballrooms and libraries can be reimagined as presentation areas or creative zones, with breakout spaces throughout the house. Although many are period properties, you’ll find their facilities and connectivity reliably up to date.

Yes, we can arrange everything from event catering to private bars. Through our concierge service, we also support corporate retreats with activities and experiences, such as watersports tuition, wine tasting, and country sports.  

Our extensive network of tried-and-trusted partner contacts means we can help plan a wide selection of team-building activities. These may range from traditional country sports, such as shooting and polo, to new and interesting experiences, such as paddle boarding, foraging and cordon bleu cookery.

A large number of our properties are based on the south coast, meaning they enjoy straightforward travel links with London. We’re always happy to provide travel advice, so let us know if you’re unsure.

Yes, absolutely. We understand that corporate bookings often need to work within company expenses and finance processes, and we’re happy to provide a full invoice for business purposes. Simply let us know your requirements – including any specific billing details or PO numbers – when you make your enquiry, and we’ll ensure the paperwork is taken care of.
