A large proportion of our cottages are dog friendly, and we’ll always do our best to make this clear within a property’s description. If you’re keen to check, you’ll find information within the ‘Finer details’ section of each page.
Typically, most of our pet-friendly holiday cottages are happy to welcome up to two dogs. This might vary from place to place, however, so do check if you have a specific property in mind.
If a property is dog-friendly, it’ll usually feature enclosed gardens and gates, to keep your pets safe. If there are less secure areas, we’ll always aim to highlight this within a property’s listing, to help you make a confident decision.
Four-legged friends are welcome in our dog-friendly cottages, with the small charge for this set by the property’s owner. This means the cost may vary slightly from property to property, so do take a look at the listing to be sure.
On a dog-friendly holiday, there’s little nicer than pulling on wellies or comfy shoes and heading out for a walk. Most properties will contain a guide to some of the best local routes, but depending on where you’re based, you might also be within reach of popular pathways like the King Charles III England Coast Path.
We ask that dogs (even very well-behaved ones) aren’t left alone in our properties. However, because so many are set in rural locations, with large grounds, coastal paths and acres of countryside to explore, you’ll find there’s no shortage of dog-friendly activities.
Many of our dog-friendly boltholes provide essentials like food and water bowls, beds, and treats, but this can vary depending on where you’re staying. We’d recommend checking with us in advance if there’s something you really need.
Yes, cats are usually welcome in our pet-friendly properties (but do check as this may vary). Although requests are rare, we’re also happy to accommodate other pets, such as hamsters. Additionally, some holiday houses offer stabling on request.
